Mystery Spot

Where pigs fly and laws of physics and gravity do not apply: balls roll uphill, water flows upwards, people can grow several inches in height or shrink visibly before one's eyes, and bodies stand around at impossible angles.

Still in shock

I must say, yesterday morning when we woke up, we never imagined we'd be looking into buying a house that same day... Thank goodness for the Bay Area's crazy real estate market! If renting a shoebox wasn't so damn expensive, we wouldn't have even considered buying our own place.

Dressed up and in heels, inspecting our townhouse, definitely all that's
missing is the yellow helmet!

I guess there is going to be an unexpected housewarming party in November! Yaaayyyyyy :)

New Skates!!

Oh, how fun it is to break in new figure skates... (ouch!)

Memorial Day Picnic

A fine afternoon in Mountain View, playing frisbee and volleyball on the grass. With a few breaks to eat macaroons, lemon pound cake and portuguese chocolates.

Tasseomancy

Today in pseudoscience, fortune says my mouth will be tasting like
coffee grounds for the rest of the day.

National Parks - Puuhonua o Honaunau

This puʻuhonua (place of refuge) was used by the indigenous Hawaiians up until the 19th century, and no harm could come to those who reached the grounds beyond the Great Wall.

Gold Dust Day Geckos

And it wouldn't be a hawaiian breakfast without Kona coffee and geckos stealing your papaya, now would it?
