National Parks - Biscayne
Some more snorkeling, this time at the mangroves of Biscayne Bay
And I have no idea what this creature might be...
Tidepools and Reef Fish
Champagne Pond
Moray eels
a delicate Starfish
Stunning electric orange hermit crabs
Sea urchin
Sea cucumber
Moorish idols
Corals
Two Step
Ruddy Turnstone, always in search of the next meal
the endangered green sea turtles
the alien like shingle urchins
a school of Yellow Tangs
Butterflyfish
Surgeonfish
Trumpetfish
Parrotfish
And the perfect message to end the snorkeling day, written on the ocean floor:
Swimming with Manta Rays
This was one of the most amazing underwater experiences I've ever had. After the sun set, immersed in the darkness of the Pacific Ocean, I observed the gracefulness of these gentle creatures performing an impressive underwater ballet, just inches away from me... and it made me shiver.
Rapa Nui - All That Deep Blue Sea
The incredible blue waters of Rapa Nui. Said to be some of the clearest waters in the world. And when you see it you can't stop wondering where all that blue comes from...
so, we decided to check it out... on a snorkeling trip to the Motu
underwater landscape
looking down, with underwater visibility up to 60 meters
