Nas planícies douradas californianas, que fazem lembrar o Alentejo.

Another camping trip, this time to Lassen Volcanic National Park. And this was the view from our campground:

Adobe and Clay

Not your typical pyramid. This huaca, an impressive pre-Inca pyramid built from seven staggered platforms around 500 A.D., survived buried in dirt and dust until today.

Rapa Nui - All That Deep Blue Sea

The incredible blue waters of Rapa Nui. Said to be some of the clearest waters in the world. And when you see it you can't stop wondering where all that blue comes from...

so, we decided to check it out... on a snorkeling trip to the Motu

Rapa Nui - Tortugas

Made a lot of videos of cute turtle during our honeymoon so I decided to share. It's amazing, these turtles LOVE people! Or maybe they just love the green algae we fed them :)

Rapa Nui - Perfect Sunsets

Tahai, the most beautiful place in the world at sunset. Just before the sun starts setting down, people start gathering here to watch the sun being swallowed by the ocean - some will bring wine, others a guitar, others will just be sitting on the grass... And the setting couldn't be more perfect, with three ahu and the ocean as a backdrop.
